Multi-awarded actor and Box Office King John Lloyd Cruz made noise yesterday (November 9) after entering a new phase in his life by inking a contract with media giant GMA Network for a big project soon.
The grand event, which was held at the Edsa Shangri-La Hotel was well attended by the big bosses of GMA-7 and even the management team handling the careers of John Lloyd led by Crown Artist Management (CAM) CEO Rambo Nuñez Ortega and COO Mikki Gonzalez
Also in attendance was Wacky Solutions, Inc. Director and Line Producer Edgar “Bobot” Mortiz.
What's more, the #JLConGMA topped the trending topic on Twitter Philippines as Kapuso celebrities and fans celebrate this exceptional news.
In an exclusive interview by GMANetwork.com later that day, John Lloyd expressed his profound gratitude for the warm reception he received saying, “Gusto ko lang ibalik lahat ng pinaramdam nila sa akin sa pasasalamat, kasi labis-labis po.”
The award-winning showbiz personality continued, “Sana maibalik ko sa paraan na matutulungan ako ng GMA Network. 'Yung inyong mga pinarating at ipinaramdam sa akin ngayong araw na ito.”
“Sa lahat ng nagpaabot ng pagbati, muli I'm really looking forward to working with you and meeting you guys in person. And I'm really excited, kung paano and kung ano 'yung mabuo natin, while I'm here. Thank you once again,” he added.
GMA Network Films Inc. President and Programming Consultant to the Chairman and CEO Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes took to Instagram to thank John Lloyd for his immense trust with GMA-7.
