Iaapela ng independent contractors na sina Jojo Nones at Richard Cruz ang resolusyon ng Department of Justice kaugnay sa akusasyon sa kanila ni Sandro Muhlach.

Inilabas na ng Department of Justice (DOJ) ang resolusyon nito kaugnay ng akusasyon ng aktor na si Sandro Muhlach laban sa independent contractors na sina Jojo Nones at Richard Cruz.

Sinamapahan sina Nones at Cruz ng kasong rape through sexual assault at two counts of acts of lasciviousness matapos makita ng prosekusyon ang lahat ng elemento ng nasabing mga krimen.

Naglabas ng pahayag ukol dito sina Nones at Cruz sa pamamagitan ng kanilang abogado.

"For them, the grounds laid do not support the findings. Hence we will appeal this resolution. We might also file motions to quash the information filed in court," lahad ni Atty. Maggie Abraham-Garduque, legal counsel nina Nones at Cruz.

Samantala, positibo naman ang naging reaksiyon ng kampo ni Muhlach dahil sa pag-usap ng kaso.

"Today, we are one step closer to our pursuit of justice for Sandro. We will continue to fight for Sandro and we have faith that our justice system will uphold the truth, honor Sandro's courage, and hold his perpetrators accountable for their atrocities," pahayag ni Atty. Czarina Raz, abogado ni Muhlach.

Matatandaang nagsampa ng reklamo si Muhlach sa National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) laban sa dalawang independent contractors matapos niyang makaranas diumano ng sekswal na pang-aabuso mula sa mga ito.

Mariin namang itinanggi nina Nones at Cruz ang mga paratang ni Muhlach.
