With their upcoming movie, The Cheating Game, which tells a story about being faithful, real-life couple Julie Anne San Jose and Rayver Cruz share their secret to being faithful in a relationship. And according to them it's all about happiness and contentment.

“Sikreto sa pagiging faithful, siguro you have to be really happy and content din sa pagmamahalan ninyong dalawa,” Rayver said during their interview on Mornings with GMA Regional TV.

He continued, “And of course, kailangan din put God in the center. Kasi pagka, feeling ko, meron ka nun, matibay 'yung magiging samahan n'yo.”

Julie added that it still depends on the person if they're going to be faithful or not.

“Like how you value a person. Kung talagang sobrang mahal mo 'yung tao and sobrang napakaimportante nung tao sa'yo at ayaw mong mawala siya sa buhay mo, hinding hindi mo gagawin 'yun,” she said.

She added, “It should be one of your principles in life.”

When asked if the couple believed in the saying "once a cheater, always a cheater," Julie and Rayver both answered “yes.”

“'Yung first question, to answer the first question, yes. Kasi ano na siya e, cheating is not a mistake, it's always a choice,” Julie said.

They were also asked about believing in second chances, to which Julie said that “parang ang hirap din kasi magbigay ng chance.”

“Kasi syempre 'pag nagawa mo 'yun, you're breaking that trust. So if that trust is broken, it's really hard to put your faith into that person again,” she added.

While Rayver agreed with Julie on giving second chances, he still believes that people can change.

“I still believe na kaya magbago ng isang tao and I think kung mahahanap niya 'yung tamang tao para sa kaniya, magbabago lahat ng pananaw niya sa buhay or sa ka-partner niya,” he said.

In a previous interview on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, both Julie and Rayver shared the same sentiments when King of Talk Boy Abunda asked them about cheating.

“It's something that you do when you're not contented in a relationship,” Julie said.

“Kung nasa isang relasyon ka, dapat contented ka with your partner and the person that you love,” Rayver added.
