Justin Bieber has tested positive for COVID-19 and has had to cancel his scheduled show at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
According to TMZ, a representative for the 27-year-old pop star said he tested positive for the disease on Saturday in the United States, and that he is “feeling OK” despite the positive diagnosis. The canceled T-Mobile Arena show has now been moved to the summer instead.
No announcement has been made on whether Justin's upcoming shows in Arizona and California will push through after the positive diagnosis. The Glendale, Arizona concert is supposed to happen on Tuesday in the United States, while the Los Angeles show is set on Thursday.
Justin is the latest music superstar to test positive for the disease. Several members of BTS have also tested positive and recovered from COVID-19, with Jimin recovering from the disease as well as from an appendectomy. Other members like RM, Jin, Suga, and V have also recovered from COVID-19. BTS and Justin are both under HYBE, ever since the company acquired 100 percent of Scooter Braun's Ithaca Holdings. Justin has participated in Weverse Con, the year-end concert organized by HYBE.
Aside from the members of BTS, a number of Korean celebrities and singers have also tested positive for COVID-19. Check them out in the gallery below.
