Ilaban Natin Yan free rides to PGH frontliners

From solving family problems and discussing social issues to helping out frontliners, Kapuso program 'Ilaban Natin 'Yan' proves they're always willing to help find solutions to difficulties, including in the fight against COVID-19. Get the details of the free rides for PGH frontliners HERE:

Kapuso program 'Ilaban Natin 'Yan' extends help to the medical frontliners of the Philippine General Hospital (PGH) by offering free rides via two modern jeeps provided by Yellowdot Transport Terminal, Inc.

One of the two modern jeeps is the Palaban Express, the vehicle that is used in the program 'Ilaban Natin 'Yan'.

The Palaban Express goes to different barangays to serve as a traveling confessional for people who want to seek help for their family problems or issues in their community. It will now be used to service medical frontliners of PGH.

Ilaban Natin 'Yan offers free rides for PGH frontliners

The free rides for PGH frontliners began today, April 6, and will continue for the next two Mondays. The weekly free rides to and from PGH have two routes: one from Starmall Alabang and another from SM Fairview.

How to avail of free ride

PGH frontliners may hail the vehicle along the route and present their PGH ID to avail of the free ride offered by 'Ilaban Natin 'Yan'.

Upon boarding, passengers are required to sign the manifest using their own ballpen, indicating the time and place of boarding. After which, they shall sanitize their hands.

Both passengers and drivers must wear face masks and observe physical distancing during the free ride. If a passenger needs to alight at a stop other than the PGH, they will be required to indicate time and place of disembarkation in the manifest.

The modern jeep assigned to the Starmall Alabang route has a maximum capacity of ten passengers. There will be a total of ten stops in this route and the estimated travel duration is one hour and 27 minutes.

'Palaban' against the COVID-19 pandemic

In this time of great uncertainty and difficulty, 'Ilaban Natin 'Yan' aims to give back to the courageous medical frontliners who risk their lives in order to save others, by easing the burden of commuting to and from the hospital.

Offering free rides to PGH frontliners is the program's meaningful way of supporting them in being 'palaban' against COVID-19.

If you'd like to help medical frontliners, you can do so by making monetary donations through the GMA Kapuso Foundation. The donations will be used to provide much-needed medical suppliers to frontliners.
