Christmas is just around the corner and after more than two years in a pandemic, many people could not wait to travel, especially this Christmas. This includes a few Kapuso celebrities who plan to celebrate Christmas either here or abroad.

In an interview with Nelson Canlas in "Chika Minute" on 24 Oras, a few celebrities shared their plans for the upcoming holidays.

Miguel Tanfelix, for example, said that he and his family are planning to go out of town, either to Baguio or to a beach this Christmas.

“Magkasama pa rin pero wala pang place as of now,” he said.

Meanwhile, Elle Villanueva said that she and her family will be going to Batangas this Christmas, saying that while they usually celebrate it at home, “this time, lalayo kami ng onting-onti lang, with the whole family.”

Derrick Monasterio joked that he'll be joining Elle in Batangas, but said that he and her sister will be alone in their house this Christmas and he would instead celebrate it at a friend's house.

Zoren Legaspi, Carmina Villarroel, and their children Cassy and Mavy, are planning to take a trip to South Korea for the holidays. Mavy even expressed how grateful he is to his love team partner, Kyline Alcantara, for helping them get a Korean Visa.

“Siguro 'yun na rin 'yung gift ni Kyline itong Christmas para sa pamilya ko, napakalaking bagay,” he said.

Kyline, meanwhile, said that she already told her family not to make plans for the holidays this year as they need to save up.

“Sabi ko nga sa pamilya ko, 'wag muna kami magplano this Christmas kasi kailangan namin magipon sa pinapagawa po naming bahay. Sacrifice, sacrifice,” she said.

Sanya Lopez, on the other hand, is planning a solo trip to Japan. She admitted that while she's nervous to travel alone, she's willing to try and experience solo travel.

“Para kung ano bang meron kapag ako lang mag-isa? Mas marami [siguro] akong madi-discover,” she said.

Meanwhile, dancer and comedian Dasuri Choi has not yet decided where to celebrate the holidays.

“Usually kasi, my father is in Pampanga and other family, they are in Korea. So I have to choose one only,” she said.

Valeen Montenegro and her family will be having a different Christmas this year as her brother, who lives in Madrid, Spain, will be coming home for Christmas and will be getting married this December.

“Super excited kami for that. It's gonna be a different Christmas for us,” she said.

Other celebrities meanwhile, Such as Andrea Torres, will be staying at home for the holidays.

“Ako naman, always naman house lang kasi mga tradition talaga namin nandoon. Minsan nagpaplano kami lumabas pero nauuwi rin kami sa bahay lang kasi nami-miss namin 'yung mga ginagawa namin nung bata,” she said.

Ysabel Ortega also mentioned that she and her family will be celebrating Christmas and New Year at their newly renovated family home in Manila.

“Kasi we just moved in to our home, our family home, kasi katatapos lang ipagawa in Manila so plano namin sasalubungin namin 'yung bagong taon and Christmas doon,” she said.
