GMA News anchor and Pinas Sarap host Kara David apparently doesn't only have mad cooking skills, but she's also a plantita extraordinaire, as she has successfully grown kangkong or water spinach in water from cuttings.

In her Instagram post, Kara shared photos of how regrowing kangkong in water will look like in different stages.

How to grow kangkong from cuttings?

According to Kara, a month ago she decided to put leftover kangkong stems in a recycled bottle, filled it with water, placed it under the sun.

After only four days, leaves started sprouting from the cuttings, and on the 30th day, Kara already has full grown kangkong.
