A funny yet heartwarming encounter took place between Kapuso journalist Kara David and The People Have Spoken celebri-peep Baus Rufo during the recent FAMAS Broadcast Awards 2026.

The two personalities shared their candid interaction on social media after meeting at the awards ceremony, where they exchanged jokes and even talked about a possible podcast appearance.

Baus first shared the memorable moment on his Facebook page, writing: “Nagpakilala si Kara David sa'kin now sa FAMAS Broadcast Awards and ininvite niya 'yung sarili niya sa Dogshow Divas and because I still have a functioning brain, pumayag ako.”

He later posted a video of their interaction, showing Kara playfully recording her own invitation to guest on Baus and Macoy Dubs' podcast, Dogshow Divas.

“Oh, andito na, ini-invite ko na 'yung sarili ko. Sana i-guest n'yo naman ako sa Dogshow Divas,” Kara said.

Baus happily responded, “Of course, sino ba naman kami para tumanggi?”

Kara also shared the video on her own social media account, joking about her unexpected podcast request.

“Kinapalan ko na talaga ang mukha ko at nagpa-invite sa Dogshow Divas 🤣🤣 Nag-chair turn na for me si Baus Rufo. Ikaw na lang, Macoy Dubs, ang kulang ko hahahaha,” she wrote.

Macoy joined in on the fun and replied in the comments section, “HAHAHAHAHA MADAM TARA NA PO.”

During the FAMAS Broadcast Awards 2026, Kara was recognized as Best Host for Public Service alongside Ivana Alawi. She also won Best Documentary and Best Public Affairs Talk Show.

Meanwhile, Baus received a nomination for Best Podcast Host, while Dogshow Divas was nominated for Best Podcast.
