Namili ng 200 washable face masks si Kara David para ipamahagi sa mga nangagangailangan nito sa UP campus.

Ayon sa Instagram post ng award-winning Kapuso news anchor at documentarist, magre-refill rin siya ng alcohol para sa mga workers ng UP campus.

"I ordered 200 washable face masks today. Drove around UP to give masks and alcohol refill to those working inside the campus--household helpers, street sweepers, security guards, grocery workers and vegetable sellers."

Bagamat hindi ito kasing kapal ng disposable mas, ayon kay Kara, mainam pa rin itong proteksyon sa COVID-19.

Saad pa niya, mas kailangan ng ating medical workers ang disposable masks para sa paggamot ng COVID-19 patients.

"If u live inside the campus, please tell me if you want one. It's not as thick as the disposable face masks but it's better than nothing.

"Besides, our frontliners need those supplies more than us. #covid19"
