Kate Cassidy is still in a state of grief after the passing of her boyfriend and former One Direction member Liam Payne.

It can be recalled that Liam passed away on October 16, 2024, in a shocking accident. Police reports say that the 31-year-old English singer was staying in a hotel in Argentina and lost his life after falling from the balcony on the third floor.

According to head of the city's emergency medical service Alberto Crescenti, Liam suffered “very serious injuries incompatible with life as a result of his fall,” adding that there was no possibility of resuscitation.

In an Instagram post, Kate shared photos of herself and Liam and noted that it has been eight months today since she lost “my best friend and someone I thought I had so much more time and life left to share with.”

“Liam was the kind of person you'd start missing the moment you walked out the door. Even when leaving the house for a few hours, I'd find myself rushing home to be with him again out of excitement,” Kate wrote in the caption.

She added that she can't wrap her head around the reality that she's living in a state of constantly missing her boyfriend. Kate also noted how she couldn't fully put into words the pain of coming home and not hearing Liam's voice, see him, nor hug him.

“I can't seem to tell if life is flying by without you or moving so slow none of it fully makes sense. But I am trying to live my life as best I can for now and live it for you. I miss you more than words can say,” Kate said.

In the end, Kate said that he knows she'll see Liam again someday, and noted how she has so much to tell him.

“I love you my angel,” Kate ended her post.
