Kate Valdez turns a year older today as she celebrates her birthday, August 21.

The Sparkle actress received a lot of birthday greetings and messages from her loved ones, including her co-stars in the upcoming Philippine adaptation of the hit Korean drama series Shining Inheritance.

In an Instagram story post, veteran actress Coney Reyes penned a heartwarming greeting for the Kapuso actress.

“Happy blessed birthday [Kate]! Have a wonderful day/year ahead! Trust in the Lord with all your heart! His plan is always the best,” she wrote in her post.

In a separate post, Kyline Alcantara penned a short yet sweet birthday message for her co-star saying, “Happy birthday @valdezkate_ I can't wait to show the world our beautiful teleserye. I love you!”

Michael Sager, on the other hand, shared photos of him and Kate on the set of Shining Inheritance and said that he's excited for their show and for more happy moments on set.

“Happy birthday ms. @valdezkate_ aka inna! excited for Shining Inheritance and for more happy moments on set,” he captioned.

Meanwhile, Charlize Ruth Reyes, more popularly known as Charuth, posted a snap of her and Kate and wished her all the best on her special day.

“Happy birthday sizt @valdezkate_ super talented and genuine na tao. Health, wealth, and happiness,” she penned in her Instagram story post.

Based on Kate's Instagram posts, she is currently at Hong Kong Disneyland for her birthday.
