Kelley Day is nipping a rumor involving her in a rumored split right in the bud.

On her Instagram stories, the Kapuso actress declared that she did not have any knowledge of or have any involvement in the controversy she is being linked with. She expressed her surprise at being linked to the issue and categorically denied the allegations.

In a statement she posted on her Instagram Story, Kelly wrote, "Many are speculating about my involvement in a certain rumor/blind item story that seems to have been circulating today.

"So before things get too out of hand, I'd like to clarify that I have no knowledge of/involvement with the controversy."

She also shared that she was and never has been pregnant, and was in the United Kingdom to attend the funeral of a family member as well as visit her family there.

As for any romantic involvement or interest in the person involved in the controversy.

Kelley further said, "I have, and always will have the utmost respect for the Couple. They have always treated me with kindness."

At the end of her statement, Kelley reminded the public about the prevalence of fake news online.

She said, "I hope this clears up the false rumors involving me. So much fake news out there nowadays. I hope we can take more caution with what we choose to believe online."

While Kelley did not mention any names, the internet has recently been abuzz with separation rumors about Tom Rodriguez and Carla Abellana, after Tom allegedly unfollowed Carla on Instagram and then followed her again.

The couple got married last October and in a previous interview revealed that they are planning on building a house and having a baby.

Kelley Day co-starred with Tom Rodriguez in The World Between Us. While Kelley was not directly named in the blind item, netizens have flocked to the comments section of her Instagram account wondering if she was the person being referred to.
