Last week, the versatile actor shared the sad news on his Instagram Story that his father, Patricio, had passed away.

In his tribute post for his father, Patricio, the Sparkle heartthrob acknowledged their complicated relationship while expressing his deep love.
“Mahal na mahal kita. Hindi man natin ito nasasabi sa isa't isa, pero alam kong alam mo na mahal kita, at alam ko rin na mahal mo ako,” Kelvin stated.
“Masakit, Daddy. Lagi mo na lang ako sinasaktan, pero kahit na ganon, mahal na mahal kita at hindi kita makakalimutan.”
