Ticktoclock host Kim Atienza unearthed some old photos that he took back in January 2020, when he got his own star at the Eastwood Walk of Fame. Some of Kuya Kim's co-honorees or batchmates then were Catriona Gray, Rachelle Ann Go, Edu Manzano, Jiggy Manicad, Nanette Inventor, Jun Banaag, Alex Gonzaga, and comedian Jo Koy.
According to the award-winning Kapuso host, he wasn't able to post the photos during the event because of the Taal volcano eruption and then in March, the whole country went into lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
He wrote in the captions, “These 2020 pics came out of my FB memories today! Talk about serendipity.
“I was so proud of this moment but purposely didn't post the pics because Taal Volcano erupted the next day and the pandemic lockdown happened after a month! Bad timing, nalimutan na tuloy.
“Thank you @freddiemoreno12 and the board of directors of the Eastwood walk of fame for giving me a Star alongside my Lodi @jokoy and others.”
Jo Koy has been in the spotlight for a few days now, after many criticized him for his jokes at the 81st Golden Globe awards.
Despite the negative comments about Jo's hosting, multi-awarded comedian Michael V. took to his Facebook page to defend his fellow comedian.
Direk Michael stated, “I think Jo Koy's Golden Globes jokes are funny, direct and pretty much self-explanatory.
He added, “The last thing Jo Koy should be doing is trying to explain it to people who purposely choose NOT to understand and appreciate them.”
