Boys' Love (BL) actor Kimson Tan is now a certified Kapuso as he signed a management contract with GMA Artist Center in February.

Kimson was featured in GMA Artist Center's online show called In The Limelight, where he introduced himself to Kapuso viewers.

Aside from being an actor, Kimson shared that he is also a basketball player and a model.

What inspired him to play basketball?

“Siguro dahil sa mga kapitbahay ko dati and sa dad ko na rin kaya nagustuhan ko na rin ang paglalaro ng basketball.

“Trivia lang guys, from Grade 4 up to college second year part po ako ng school varsity namin,” he said.

The 21-year-old became part of the University of Santo Tomas Growling Tigers Team B for one year before he decided to enter the world of show business.

Meanwhile, Kimson also has enthusiasm for creating entertaining content on social media. He launched his YouTube channel in 2019, and already, it houses a few videos.

His tips for aspiring YouTubers: “If you're really passionate about what you're doing kahit mahirap siya sa umpisa basta you put in the work eventually makukuha mo rin 'yung goal mo.”

As a newbie in the industry, Kimson was asked to name a Kapuso star he would like to work with, but he maintained that he is keen on working with all of GMA Network's artists since it's a privilege for him.

The actor then thanked GMA Artist Center for allowing him to work for them.

“Sobrang overwhelming, thankful, blessed, and grateful to be part of GMA Artist [Center].

"Siyempre hindi naman po lahat ng tao ay nabibigyan ng chance and opportunity to be part of it, pero ako po 'yung isa sa nabigyan ng chance so I'm very grateful and thankful to GMA Artist [Center],” he added.
