Kobie Brown is set to take on a role in a live stage production in the stage adaptation of Jun Robles Lana's film About Us But Not Us.
In a social media post, the IdeaFirst Company announced that the Filipino-British star will portray the role as second Lancelot, with actor Elijah Canlas reprising his character with the same name.
It is also revealed that Kapuso actor won the role in the auditions and was commended by the play's director Tuxqs Rutaquio.
“This October, two actors will play Lancelot. Elijah Canlas returns to the role he originated, and joining him is Kobie Brown — the second Lancelot. Kobie won the role in auditions.
“'The role seemed to find its rightful owner the moment Kobie began. He was the actor we'd been looking for,' says director Tuxqs Rutaquio. Elijah brings the Lancelot audiences already love. Kobie brings his own. See them both," the caption reads.
The stage adaptation of About Us But Not About Us will take place at the Power Mac Center Spotlight Blackbox Theater in Circuit Makati on October 2 to 25.
In May, Kobie Brown began his journey in the Kapuso network as he signed his contract with Sparkle GMA Artist Center.
