Kris Aquino also admits to recent health struggles.

In a rare public appearance, Kris Aquino braved sun exposure, despite the risk of a lupus flare, to pay a heartfelt visit to her late brother, former President Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III, on his death anniversary.

Accompanied by her son, Bimby, the two quietly paid their respects in honor of Noynoy's fifth death anniversary.

"Bimb & I had to go very early, we were in Manila Memorial at 6:30 AM. Sun exposure is a major trigger for a lupus flare," Kris wrote.

The actress-host also candidly opened up about the health challenges she has faced in recent months.

"I've promised to stay true to all of you- from being strong and so close to my goal during Bimb's birthday in April, I started feeling the full force of post covid fatigue syndrome around the end of May, and our weird weather has made me suffer from the worst Rheumatoid Arthritis flare. My right knee is so swollen and with many bone protrusions. But I keep my word, despite going through the worst body pain," she said.

Despite her condition, Kris expressed gratitude for the support shown to Bimby following his recent guest-hosting stint on a variety show.

"He's natural because from the time he was born 'laking studio' na siya. He's done major endorsements from the time he was 4 months old and has been my co-host for the summer episodes of Kris TV. Thank you for praising him for being humble and marunong makisama," she added.

Kris also shared that Bimby's Tito Noy had been a positive influence and role model in his life.

"Happy 5th birthday in heaven, Noy. Kuya Josh, Bimb & I love you," she greeted.
