Kris Aquino and her children Josh and Bimby spend a fun time at the happiest place in the world.
Despite struggling with multiple health issues, Kris Aquino took some time out from her treatments to fulfill a promise made to her son Josh.
In the most recent post made on her Instagram account, Kris shared a video compilation of her time spent at Disney World along with sons Josh and Bimby. In the caption to the post, Kris said that it was a promise fulfilled since he gave “kuya Josh” her word.
That said, Kris also reminded her fans and followers that the happy trip comes with a trade-off. In the comments to the post, she shared that she is now bedridden after the trip but Josh's gratitude made the whole trip worth it.
As she has been chronicling on her Instagram account, Kris has been battling a number of autoimmune conditions, ranging from Eosinophilic Granulomatosis with Polyangiitis (EGPA) or Churg-Strauss Syndrome, as well as autoimmune thyroiditis and chronic spontaneous urticaria.
Back in December, Kris updated her fans and followers regarding her health and situation in the United States, where she is seeking treatment.
In the post, Kris shared a photo of a document from the United States Department of Homeland Security's U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. The document is to help secure a longer stay in the United States. Kris also shared in the caption to the post that her extension approval may take anywhere from two to three months to get approved.
In June of last year, Kris announced that she would take a social media break and that she would be taking Rituxan, a chemotherapy drug that is used for cancer but also for autoimmune conditions like hers.
