Now more than ever, Kris Aquino is more determined to get her health back.
Queen of All Media Kris Aquino is all set and ready to leave for the US in the next few days and plans to stay there for over a year to seek medical treatments.
Kris gave the update about her plans via a birthday greeting she sent to Asia's Songbird Regine Velasquez last Saturday, April 23.
“Mare sorry if my greeting is late -- we leave in a few days and we'll be gone for more than a year for my medical treatments. Medyo overwhelming,” Kris said.
Kris also thanked not only Regine but also her husband, singer-songwriter Ogie Alcasid, for always checking up on her through her former television aid Darla Sauler.
"Thank you dumalaw si Jas and Darla and they told me sobrang consistent kayo ni Pare (Ogie) asking kung kamusta ako," Kris said.
Kris was recently diagnosed with erosive gastritis and gastric ulcer apart from her autoimmune condition. Tests, however, ruled out the possibility of cancer.
