Actress and first time mom Kris Bernal gives an update on her motherhood journey.
Kris Bernal embraced her new role as a mom when she gave birth to her daughter, Hailee Lucca, last month.

In a recent Instagram post, the first time mom shared a video of her with her little girl and gave her followers an update on her motherhood journey.
“KUMUSTA AKO? Most days, I'm a broken mess, makeup-less w/ panda eyes, in nursing bra, and haphazard mum-bun. Standing, fighting, trying! I realized I've lost myself in motherhood. Constantly learning, growing, and adapting. Motherhood pushes me, willing or not, into growth, evolution, metamorphosis. It's painful and amazing and it just is,” she wrote.
Kris also said that her child was named after the song “Hallelujah,” aside from the NBA player, Luka Doncic.
She continued, “It served as both my lullaby for my baby and something I listened to often while pregnant.”
In a separate post, the actress-entrepreneur also shared her breastfeeding journey, which she described as fulfilling and challenging.
A week ago, Kris and Perry's child turned one month old and the StarStruck winner talked about her experiences as a new mom during the early weeks with her baby.
“There is nothing like the first weeks at home w/a newborn. Sleep deprivation is real! It's the craziest mix of excitement and exhaustion as we get to know each other. It's quite challenging as me and @haileeluca are both doing things we've never done before.
“Inhaling the happy, exhaling the hard! I wouldn't change it for the world!” a part of her caption reads.
Kris and Perry, who tied the knot in September 2021, welcomed their child, Hailee Lucca, on August 15, 2023.
