Kris Bernal to the whole cast: “I valued the relationships built during the tapings more than you can imagine!”
Actress-entrepreneur Kris Bernal was visibly emotional as she wrapped up her lock-in taping for the highly-anticipated GMA Afternoon Prime series Artikulo 247.
The StarStruck alumna bagged the role of the feisty Klaire Almazan and she will act alongside some of the brilliant actors under GMA-7 led by Rhian Ramos, Mark Herras, and Benjamin Alves.
In her Instagram post thanking everyone behind the soap, Kris described Artikulo 247 as a “dream come true” moment for her.
She posted, “These past few weeks have been a bit of a whirlwind for me, but nothing short of a dream come true.
Kris then continued, “The last day of taping for #Artikulo247 is today after being bubbled and grinding for more than a month. So, before I say it's over and get emotional (Sepanx na agad!), my heartfelt gratitude to my entire #Artikulo247 family for providing me with much-needed inspiration during the craziness of our lock-in tapings.”
The soap opera star added that her co-workers pushed her to reach new heights in terms of her personal and professional life.
“To my coworkers on the set, thank you for constantly challenging me to reach new heights in my personal and professional skills. Your support, enthusiasm, and encouragement have fueled these baby embers into a blazing fire.”
“Just so you all know; I valued the relationships built during the tapings more than you can imagine! It was surprising and unexpected. I was connecting with people in a way I never have before. My relationships became closer with each and everyone, and honesty became purer.
“You all cheered me up and gave me so much enthusiasm with your presence kahit lahat tayo ay #SubsobSaTrabaho. Talk about my anxiety and fears, thank you for helping me handle it. It was mine, but you all had a piece of it as well.”
Kapuso actors Benjamin Alves and Mark Herras reacted to Kris's heartwarming message on Instagram, as well.
