Unboxing videos are one of the internet's favorite things to watch.

Even with a small device like the GMA Now, you can still have a lot of fun unboxing the tiny package that packs quite a punch.

GMA Now is a mobile digital TV receiver that can be plugged into an Android device and allows you to watch live TV on the go for free.

It is a thumb drive-sized dongle will give you access to GMA, GTV, Heart of Asia, Hallypop, Dep-Ed TV, and all available free-to-air digital channels in your location.

With GMA Now, you will be able to catch all your favorite Kapuso shows as long as you are within the coverage area.

Content creator and comedian Chino Liu, more popularly known as Krissy Achino, starts his unboxing by emulating Queen of All Media Kris Aquino.

"This is what I've heard about. We have to innovate. Kailangan sabayan natin 'yung technology. Before naka-antenna tayo and then nag-cable and then nagkaroon ng GMA Affordabox.

"Right now, we have the GMA Now," he says, imitating Kris's speech patterns and mannerisms.

With the offscreen help of his personal assistant "Bibingkai," he downloaded, installed, and set up the app then assembled the device.

Overall, Chino found GMA Now easy to set up and convenient to use.

"So guys please use GMA Now dahil napakamura na nito and of course, very convenient. Anytime, anywhere, you can watch all of your favorite GMA shows and all free-to-air channels on the go so I love it," Chino encourages.

"GMA Now, the best. This is how much? P649 SRP (suggested retail price). Not bad because one time payment lang. You can just stream and watch kahit saan talaga," he adds.

Meanwhile, Niel Padilla was impressed by the interactive features of GMA Now.

"Mayroon pang pa-bonus. Tayong mga GMA Now users will have access sa mga exclusive Kapuso content through GMA Videos On-Demand," he explains.

He also likes the social aspect that the device brings to television-viewing.

"At ito pa ang matindi, habang nanonood kang ganyan, lalo sa akin at malayo ako, puwedeng puwede mong maka-chat at the same time habang nanonood, ang family mo and friends mo through the Groupee chat," Niel says.

He is also looking forward to the games and promotions that GMA Now will be holding in the future.

"Entertainment to the next level talaga ito kasi habang nanonood kayo ng family mo, ng mga friends mo, mayroon din mga pa-games doon. May mga pa-poll ganoon. At siyempre kapag may games, may prizes!" he says excitedly.

Claro the Third was delighted at how GMA Now addresses changing attitudes and habits toward watching television.

"'Yun talaga 'no? Nagche-change na kasi talaga 'yung mundo natin ngayon kasi 'di ba nagkaroon ng pandemic? Lahat ng mga tao talaga nagsi-switch na sa mga bagay or mga panooran na tawag nga nila ay on the go. Mas handy, mas mobile, mas prefer na ng mga tao ngayon.

"Kita mo naman kasi kahit saaan ka pumunta 'di ba, mapapanooran mo. 'Yun 'yung nakikita ko na super super super advantage of using GMA Now," he says in his unboxing video.

He also loves that one does not need an internet connection for watching the channels from GMA Now.

"Hindi lang Kapuso channels pala, lahat ng free-to-air channels sa lugar [maaaring mapanood] nang walang internet connection. TV na TV nga talaga. Naglipat ka lang ng monitor at pwede mong ilagay sa bulsa mo," he notes.
