Filipina vlogger-actress Kristel Fulgar was one happy lady when she met some Korean stars at Seoulcon 2023.

In an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com, Kristel revealed some of her unique experiences during the big event.

She shared, “Firstly, being seated near the stage and getting to see the celebrities up close, whom I had only seen on my screen before, was incredible.”

Following that, she said that before going to the said event, she had no expectations that she would meet some Korean actors there.

Kristel said, “Honestly, I had zero expectations of bumping into Korean actors and idols. I thought the award show was just for us content creators, so you can imagine how excited I was when I spotted big-time Korean celebrities like Im Yoona, Lee Jun-ho, Lee Sung-kyung, and Shin Ye-eun.”

The vlogger-actress also revealed that she could not contain her happiness when she saw her Korean crush, Joo Sang-wook.

She said, “Then, there was me trying to calm the fangirl in me when I saw Joo Sang-wook, my long-time Korean actor crush from 'Good Doctor', 'Birth of a Beauty', and 'Cunning Single Lady'.

“I didn't get to personally meet any of them, though, since the show kicked off right after the red carpet. But despite that, just being in the same room as them was already a surreal moment for me,” Kristel highlighted.

Meanwhile, at the big event, the prestigious award program APAN Star Awards recognized Kristel as one of the Global Creators of the Year.
