Kapuso heartthrob Kristoffer Martin finished fifth at Ironman 70.3 Philippines, a race that involved a 1.9km swim, 90km bike, and 21km run.

Kristoffer proudly took to Instagram some of his snaps from Ironman 70.3 Philippines, the biggest gathering ever of endurance runners.

In his post, Kristoffer shared his unforgettable experience from the multisport race which he referred to as the "best race of his life."

“Grabe yung challenge ng race. From swim leg na grabe yung alon halos di gumagalaw tapos natangay pa ko sa malayo, sa pakikipagbakbakan ni @patrickishere sa bagyo sa SCTEX, hanggang sa sustained pace ni @moveslikealec sa 21k niyang takbo. Sobrang sarap sa feeling yung nakita na namin si Alec tapos sabay sabay kami tumawid sa finish line.

“Grabe tong first IronMan experience namin. Sulit lahat ng pagod from trainings. Proud of you boys! Lezgo Core Tri Team,” he wrote in his caption.

The Sparkle actor also mentioned how his swim coaches helped him finish the battle confidently.

“Special shoutout sa power swim coaches ko @keb.eijansantos @nicole_eijansantos. Kahit recently lang ako nagjoin sa team. Sobrang dami kong natutunan and naapply ko LAHAT ng turo nila sakin lalo na sa open water swim. Sobrang iba yung confidence ko sa dagat kanina. Sinasabi ko pa inaanxiety ako kahapon kasi takot talaga ako sa dagat. Salamat mga coach! Thank you Lord. For giving us strength and safe kami lahat. All you Lord,” he continued.

Meanwhile, some of his followers including celebrities like Jeric Gonzales and Suzi Entrata-Abrera sent their congratulatory messages for Kristoffer in the comments section.
