Kuya Kim Atienza "All it takes is just a little kindness to save lives."

Kuya Kim Atienza shared his thoughts on the importance of choosing kindness both online and in real life.

The Kapuso host has become more active in promoting kindness in digital spaces and supporting mental health awareness following the passing of his daughter, Emman Atienza, in October 2025. She was 19 years old.

Kuya Kim opened up about his advocacy during his guest appearance on Dani Barretto's Bare It All Podcast.

Reflecting on how previous generations were raised, the TiktoClock host said, "Bilang isang boomer, we were taught that sticks and bones may break your bones, but words will never hurt me. That's how we grew up."

However, he emphasized that times have changed and that words now carry a much deeper impact.

"You know, nowadays, online or in real life, words can kill. All it takes is just a little kindness to save lives and help those who are in need."

Kuya Kim also acknowledged that today's younger generation experiences the world differently, making compassion and understanding even more important.

"The kids nowadays are different. They're not like us. And all it takes is just a little kindness online,” he added.
