“All this pain and sacrifice means I have you,” in celebration of Kylie Padilla's son Axl Romeo's first birthday, the actress looked back on the traumatic birth experience after having him.
Encantadia star Kylie Padilla's second child son, Axl Romeo Abrenica, turned one year old on today, December 10.
In celebration of his bubbly and adorable son's first birthday, the actress looked back on the traumatic birth experience after having Axl.
Her heartfelt birthday message was accompanied by a video showing a playful and curious Axl.

"Even though it was a traumatic birth experience I am thankful to God I have you.
"All this pain and sacrifice means I have you. Healthy and happy and so busy in your own little world. I'm lucky to be part of it.
"It's all I could ever ask for. Mama, Papa and Kuya love you. Happy first birthday, first year of life," she said.
They also held a simple party with some of their relatives.
Axl's older brother, Alas Joaquin, and Aljur's siblings, Vin, Alleah, and Allen, were present in the intimate gathering as seen in the couple's Instagram stories.
Meanwhile, giving birth can be the scariest and most excruciating encounter in a woman's life, and Kylie has already experienced it twice.
She gave birth to her first child Alas Joaquin in August 2017.
Kylie, an open book when it comes to her mental health and motherhood journey, admitted in the past that she suffered from depression on her both pregnancies, but she had it more difficult on the second one.
She experienced perinatal and postpartum depression when she had Axl.
"If I was to be completely honest I have been suffering from PPD these past few weeks.
"Usually when this happens to me I try to listen to my inner voice and meditate.
"Something inside me is being deprived of attention. Breathe and find comfort in silence, it has a lot to say," she said in a social media post in September 2020.
To manage the symptoms of depression, she keeps herself busy with her businesses and hobbies, including painting.
Given the challenges she went through postpartum, having a healthy support system in her husband and family members has also helped Kylie cope with depression.

Aljur and Kylie, actor Robin Padilla's daughter with Liezl Sicangco, got married in December 2018.
