'Hele sa Hiwagang Hapis' will be available starting June 12 until June 14 on the YouTube channel of Ten17p.
Hele sa Hiwagang Hapis (A Lullaby to the Sorrowful Mystery), Lav Diaz's eight-hour epic historical fantasy drama film, will stream on YouTube for free.
To celebrate Philippine independence, it will be available starting June 12 to June 14 on the YouTube channel of boutique film production company Ten17p.
The black and white film centers on the 1896 Philippine Revolution and boasts of a stellar cast including John Lloyd Cruz, Piolo Pascual, Alessandra de Rossi, Sid Lucero, Cherie Gil, and many others.
Hele Sa Hiwagang Hapis won the Silver Bear Award after it screened at the Berlin International Film Festival in 2016.
