Doing 'Legal Wives' has taught Alice a lot about Muslim tradition and culture.
Alice Dixson has learned so much about Muslim traditions while in the midst of doing GMA's upcoming drama series, Legal Wives.
The veteran actress posted on Instagram a photo and video of her wearing a tube cap also known as hijab cap.
A hijab cap provides partial coverage for the head and helps keep the hijab in place.
“Although we've lived in the Middle East, I learned so much more about the hijab through our TV series,” wrote Alice.
“In its traditional form, it is worn by women to maintain modesty and privacy.
“Generally Muslim women's garments conceal the hair and body from the ankles to the neck.”
She added, “Kaya what I'm wearing here (tube cap) is incomplete. I must still cover my neck with a scarf or full inner bonnet.”
Joining Alice in the cast of Legal Wives are Dennis Trillo, Bianca Umali, and Andrea Torres.
The series is directed by Zig Dulay and is set to premiere soon on GMA.
