Actress Liza Soberano on being part of the upcoming animated 'Forgotten Island': "I'm so so so proud honored and proud to be a part of such an amazing film that showcases Filipino culture and talent!"

Liza Soberano expressed her love and appreciation to her co-stars and to the entire team behind the upcoming DreamWorks animated movie, Forgotten Island.

In an Instagram post, Liza uploaded photos and video clips of her with Filipino-American singer H.E.R. and the rest of the people behind the said film, along with a heartfelt message saying how honored she is to be part of the project.

"I have so much love for the whole team behind this project. I'm so so so honored and proud to be a part of such an amazing film that showcases Filipino culture and talent!!" she wrote.

Aside from Liza and H.E.R., the stellar cast of Forgotten Island also include Pinoy talents like Dolly De Leon, Jo Koy, Amielynn Abellera, Manny Jacinto, and Lea Salonga. Crazy Rich Asians actor Ronny Chieng is also a part of the star-studded cast.

Universal Pictures recently released the official trailer of Forgotten Island and has garnered more than three million views, as of writing. The film is slated to be released on September 25, 2026.

Aside from Forgotten Island, Liza Soberano made her Hollywood debut in 2024 through the romantic-comedy movie Lisa Frankenstein, where she got to work with American stars Kathryn Newton and Cole Sprouse.
