Talent manager and columnist Lolit Solis reflected on KC Concepcion's highly publicized life on her Instagram account. Being the daughter of celebrities Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion, the actress has been in the spotlight since she was born.
Lolit wrote, "Parang I feel sad for KC Concepcion, Salve. Parang dahil naging anak siya nila Gabby Concepcion at Sharon Cuneta, kahit hindi pa nga siya active showbiz person lagi parin siyang laman ng mga balita.
"By association dahil sa mga parents niya, wala parin siyang privacy. Lahat parin ng galaw niya gusto ng publiko na isali sa opinyon. Since her birth hanggang ngayon, bawat galaw niya nababalita, hindi maitago. Kaya halos wala din makalapit sa kanya dahil intimidated. Iyon mga lalaki, takot din mapunta sa limelight, kaya siguro umiiwas din."
Lolit also praised KC for being a self-made woman and being very independent.
"Mabuti na lang at sa abroad nag-aral si KC Concepcion, tahimik na nakatapos ng college. At dahil self made woman of substance kaya very independent. Lagi siyang ' compare ' sa ibang kapatid. Bawat kilos binabantayan. Well, iyon siguro ang price to pay for having very popular parents.
"Pero I think unfair for KC Concepcion dahil may sarili siyang buhay, meron siyang sariling pagkatao. Good na lumaki siyang firm and head on her shoulder, at kinakaya ang lahat ng journey na pinapasok niya."
She concluded her post with a message for KC, "Fighting KC Concepcion. Wishing you happiness and peace if mind. You are one daughter any parent will be proud of. Fighting KC. Stand tall. #classiclolita #takeitperminutemeganun #74naako"
KC is currently in Los Angeles and has been keeping fans updated through social media.
Despite being abroad, KC is practicing her right to vote. She recently transferred her overseas voting registration from Paris, France to LA, California where she will be voting for the 2022 elections.
"The Philippine Presidential election is coming in May 2022 and I wanted to make sure I could vote," KC said in a post.
In a video, KC went to the Philippine Consulate General's office, fell in line, filled out forms, and showed a quick hello with former Eat Bulaga host Ruby Rodriguez, who has moved to the US recently and has started working for the Philippine consulate.
