Gabbi's dad is very supportive of her daughter's showbiz dreams.
“Tough on the outside but a softie on the inside.”
This is how Kapuso actress Gabbi Garcia described her dad as he greets him on Father's Day.
“Happy Father's Day to our dad who's so tough on the outside but a softie on the inside! Thank you for making us smile everyday with your dad jokes, which I truly treasure. We love you very much and we appreciate you!” wrote Gabbi on Instagram.
The post was accompanied by a photo of Gabbi on holiday with her family.
Gabbi and her dad, Vince Lopez, are very close. In fact, Vince served as Gabbi's makeup artist and chaperone when she was just starting out in show business.
The Kapuso actress-host revealed this fun fact in June last year in her YouTube vlog.
In the video, the Kapuso actress shared that when she was just starting out doing talent shows and beauty pageants, her dad was the one doing her makeup backstage along with the other moms.
