Oppa, take care always! Model-turned-actor Jang Ki-yong enlisted in the South Korean military in August 2021.
Fans of K-drama actor Jang Ki-yong, who starred in the hit tvN romcom series My Roommate is a Gumiho, were ecstatic to see that he's doing well after enlisting in the South Korean military last August 23.
South Korea's laws require all able-bodied men between the ages of 18 to 28 to enroll in compulsory military service.
Korean entertainment site Soompi shared some photos of Ki-yong wearing his military uniform and smiling, while being surrounded by his fellow soldiers.
The Korean actor first debuted as a model in 2012 at the Seoul Fashion Week. His popularity further increased while portraying the mythical gumiho named Shin Woo-yeo in My Roommate is a Gumiho, acting alongside his leading lady Lee Hye-ri.
