Congratulations, Janine Gutierrez for your FAMAS win!
Primetime actress and daughter of Lotlot de Leon, Janine Gutierrez, adds another feather to her cap after bagging another prestigious award before the years ends.
After her masterful performance in the movie Babae at Baril earned her a Gawad Urian trophy last November, Janine now can add a FAMAS Best Actress recognition under her belt, too.
Lotlot de Leon took to Instagram to congratulate her daughter for another milestone in her career as a movie actress.
She posted, “Anak, I am so proud of you! God is truly good! You deserve this anak for all the hard work! Mabait ang dios talaga!!! To my FAMAS BEST ACTRESS, CONGRATULATIONS ANAK!!! You make us proud!!!”
Janine replied to her mom's heartwarming message with a simple, “LOVE YOU MOM” followed by four crying emojis
Back in November, Janine expressed her profound gratitude for the whole team behind Babae at Baril after she won at the Gawad Urian Awards.
"So honored and humbled and grateful to be part of team #BabaeAtBaril!! Hindi man tayo nakadalo sa New York at Osaka, ibang klaseng karangalan ang mapansin ng ating Gawad Urian ♥ (at para sa akin, mapasama sa hanay ng mga artistang matagal ko nang hinahangaan!)"
Janine is currently busy doing her new movie Dito at Doon with Kapamilya actor JC Santos.
Janine came from two popular showbiz families: her dad Ramon Christopher is the son of veteran singer Pilita Corrales while her mom, Lotlot, has two incredible parents, grand-slam best actress Nora Aunor and bankable drama actor Christopher de Leon.
In addition, the award-winning actress has done several notable shows with GMA-7 including: Villa Quintana (2013), Once Again (2016), Legally Blind (2017), Victor Magtanggol (2018), and the afternoon soap Dragon Lady last year.
Like other celebrities, Janine has also ventured into the world of vlogging. In fact, she recently received her Silver Play Button Award in May.
A content creator gets a Silver Play Button Award recognition after his or her channel reaches 100,000 subscribers.
"Thank you guys! Thank you and I'm so happy that we finally have one of these and hopefully I make you guys happy with more videos.” Janine said.
Since establishing her channel in October 2018, Janine Gutierrez's YouTube page has garnered more than 12.8 million views and her subscribers is now at 377,000 and still rising.
