First-time parents Luane Dy and Carlo Gonzalez reveal why they named their child Jose Christiano.
Showbiz couple Carlo Gonzalez and Luane Dy couldn't be happier with the birth of their first child! This much they shared in an exclusive interview with Unang Hirit.
Luane gave birth on May 8 via C-section and they named him Jose Christiano.
“I've always liked the name Christ, 'yung mga Christ-like and at the same time letter C, so parang kung titingnan mo, pareho kami. Lahat ng lalaki kasi sa pamilya namin may Jose. So magandang ipangalan na C na goes well with Jose. Pareho kaming JCG (initials),” he added.
Luane also related that they were kind of disappointed that Carlo did not get a chance to enter the delivery room.
“Nalungkot si Carlo kasi hindi na allowed ang husband sa loob ng labor room, ng delivery room. Gusto pa naman sana naming ma-experience 'yung siya 'yung magka-cut ng umbilical cord. Talagang naghintay lang sa labas ng delivery room,” she said.
Luane also talked about her labor pains.
“Actually mabilis lang. Morning kasi e, nasa bahay lang ako. Parang hindi na ako mapakali. 'Yung feeling ko ang weird, parang tatrangkasuhin ako na ewan. Tulog lang ako ng tulog, higa lang ako ng higa hanggang sa naging regular na 'yung contractions.”
