Juliana Gomez, the only daughter of Richard Gomez and Lucy Torres-Gomez celebrated her 24th birthday last September 8.
Juliana Gomez just turned 24 last September 8 and her doting parents, Richard Gomez and Lucy Torres-Gomez took to social media to express their love and well-wishes on her special day.
Leyte representative Richard Gomez posted an Instagram Reel showing some of his priceless photos of Juliana throughout the years.
He then wrote in the captions that he is extremely proud of the woman she has become today.
Richard posted, “Happy birthday, my dear Juliana!
“Mom and I always wish you the best in all you do and take on, and we are very proud of you. You have a beautiful, gentle heart and I thank you for all the joy you bring.
“You are now a lady, my love.
“Take good care of yourself, love your friends, and always be good to your family.”
Meanwhile, Ormoc City Mayor Lucy Torres-Gomez uploaded a cute photo of Juliana inside a cabinet, when she was a little girl.
She then explained on Instagram the meaning of her daughter's second name, Beatrice.
“I may have thousands of photos of you but for now I choose this --- a classic from when you were tiny, and during one of those happy days you randomly made me laugh just by being you.” Mayor Lucy noted.
She added, “Your second name is Beatrice, which means bearer of happiness and blessings, and when you were born 24 years ago on September 8, 2000 I took one look at you and knew in my mother's heart that you would be all that, plus more.”
“Thank you for making me laugh even on the hardest and saddest of times, for wisdom beyond your young years, for making me feel young when life makes me feel old (with your music, your wonderful friends, your stories, your funny thoughts), for the way you naturally make things more beautiful.
“Happy birthday, my little love. Of all the things you are, I am most proud of the fact that you have sunshine in your heart. Stay that way. And know that always, you are my bundle of joy, my true treasure.”
Last July, Juliana graduated cum laude with a degree in Public Administration from the University of the Philippines Diliman.
She is also a multi-titled fencer and represented UP in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines competition.
