
Filipina beauty queen Lyndzy Blyss Plata Maranan cemented the country's reputation as one of the global power houses in pageants after she took home the Miss Global Universe 2026 crown. The pageant was held in Singapore yesterday, July 11.
The Mutya ng Pilipinas 2025 - Luzon title holder succeeded Quinty Verhoeve of the Netherlands.
In her Instagram post on Sunday (July 12), Lyndzy thanked everyone for their incredible support.
She wrote, “My heart is so grateful, and I'm still in awe of this blessing. Thank you for all your messages, love, and support. Mahal ko kayong lahat.”
Lyndzy beat Miss Singapore Vanessa Hoong, who placed first runner-up. Meanwhile, Hong Kong bagged the second runner-up and then Belgium and New Zealand were hailed as third and fourth runner-up respectively.
