Maine Mendoza: "I am not 'tolerating' him but..."
Maine Mendoza expressed how she felt in a tweet about her boyfriend, Arjo Atayde.

Arjo became the trending topic on Twitter yesterday, August 18, after Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong confirmed that Arjo and nine others are COVID-19 positive.
According to Mayor Magalong, Arjo was taping in their city and left Baguio after being tested positive for COVID-19.
"Positive siya kaya lang nga bigla siya umalis kahapon without our knowledge umalis siya. Claiming na siya lang ang daw ang symptomatic at 'yung ibang mga kasama niya asymptomatic kaya iniwanan na lang siya at bumaba siya sa Manila."
After the news circulated, Feelmaking Productions Inc. issued a statement on actor's alleged breach of COVID-19 protocols.
The film company explained that Arjo had a pre-existing medical condition and was having a hard time breathing.
Part of the statement read, "Arjo Atayde tested positive for COVID-19 as shooting for his new film culminated in Baguio last August 16. Arjo was suffering from high fever, and difficulty in breathing.
"It was the mutual decision of Feelmaking productions Inc., Arjo's parents, and doctors to rush the actor, who has pre-existing medical condition, straight to a hospital in Manila on August 17."
On the same day, Maine answered a tweet directed to her about her boyfriend's condition.
According to the tweet, "@mainedcm ayaw kong maniwala na kaya mong i-tolerate ang mali, na mas pabor sayo ang ginawa ni atayde kesa sa safety ng maraming tao. Hindi isang Maine Mendoza yun."
Maine responded by saying that she is not tolerating her boyfriend, Arjo. She added that there is more to know about the story.
"Hello! I am not 'tolerating' him but there's just so much you do not know about the story.
"And I hope he gets the chance to tell his side and the context of what had happened these past few days.
"I also hope you do not base your judgments solely on what you see online because you might just be seeing an angle of the real scenario.
