Keanu Reeves is just one of the many actors who came to visit Manny while he was in training.
In a new podcast episode of Surprise Guest with Pia Arcangel, the Kapuso newscaster and journalist interviewed boxing legend-turned-politician Manny Pacquiao and talked about the Hollywood celebrities the boxer has had interactions with.
Pia asked Pacquiao if he ever gets starstruck whenever a celebrity visits him during his training and he laughingly answered, “Hindi naman masyado. Nasanay na kasi ako sa wild card nagtratraining ako, maraming mga artista na nagpupunta at nanunuod ng training ko.”
Two of Pacquiao's favorites are American actors Mark Wahlberg and Keanu Reeves. According to the boxer, Reeves even surprised him one time at his house in the US. Other celebrities who went to see Pacquiao train are Sylvester Stallone, Paris Hilton, and such. Pacquiao shared that they would stop by to take photos with him.
The late Kobe Bryant was also one of the celebrities Pacquiao used to hang out with. He shares, “Nung time na nagpunta sya dito sa Pilipinas nag hangout kami, nag gimik gimik.”
Pacquiao recently appeared in the famous Korean variety show Knowing Bros with actress and K-pop idol Sandara Park and got to meet numerous Korean celebrities.
