The remaining Survivors have one week to save their slots as the Showdown to Six continues.
The clock is ticking and the survivors only have 15 seconds to each answer a question that will change the way they compete from now on. This is
StarStruck: The Next Level, it's getting down to the wire and every second counts.
This past week, the Danger 8 Survivors went through three challenges under the supervision of the
StarStruck council. After their three-on-one interviews, the
artista hopefuls faced their toughest acting challenge yet with Ms. Lorna Tolentino in an original script written especially for the show. Then the boys and the girls were separated as they filmed music videos under the direction of council member Louie Ignacio, with Dennis Trillo and Kyla.
Last Sunday night, the survivors were given the decision on what to perform, and each of them made the best of their individual performances. And with tension hovering over them, the
StarStruck Danger 8 were reminded over and over again that two of them would be joining the ranks of the Avengers soon.
Aljur Abrenica started off the night with a song-and-dance number that showed of his rocker side, quickly followed by Jewel Mische with a dance performance. Next up were
StarStruck's singing divas Stef Prescott and Rich Asuncion, both of whom played up their singing prowess. Paulo Avelino followed with a song he dedicated to his friends, and Mart Escudero showed his intergalactic dance moves! Finally, Prince Stefan serenaded the audience members, and Kris Bernal gave a dance performance that brought the house down.
But the main event of the night was the announcement of which two Survivors who were joining the Avengers. The hosts separated the remaining eight contestants into two groups: Rich Asuncion, Paulo Avelino, Kris Bernal and Mart Escudero, who made up the first group, were also safe for the night. That meant that the second group, comprising of Prince Stefan, Stef Prescott, Aljur Abrenica and Jewel, were the bottom group for the week.
Fans mustn't fret though as none of the four have been demoted to Avenger status yet because they have one more week to show just what they are capable of! But the votes last week will still play into this week's elimination night, where two Survivors will definitely join the other Avengers.
This week the
StarStruck Danger 8 go on their nationwide tour! Then, see them every weeknight right after
Jumong and catch the live elimination on Sunday after
Mga Kwento ni Lola Basyang!
