Marco Gallo: "Hopefully, 'yung mga pakembot-kembot namin, e, magustuhan ninyo po.”

Marco Gallo shares how he has learned the importance of fan service in his journey as an artist.

The Pinoy Big Brother alumnus admitted that he used to feel extremely shy about performing in public. But overtime, he realized that doing live shows, such as mall tours and concerts, is not just about showcasing himself, but also a way to connect to his fans and supporters.

“Every time before, in the past, I would kinda hate it because I'm not a singer, I kind of have a hard time. I get this like, anxiety stage, where you feel so seen and so vulnerable.” Marco confessed during the press conference of the upcoming Vivarkada 2025: The Ultimate Fancon and Grand Concert last week.

He continued, “The way I accepted it na lang is parang nakakatuwa kasi na the small thing that we're there, we're sing, we don't have to be so good in it, but it makes some other people's day. Nagta-travel sila para pumunta sa mall at manood ng shows namin. It just always ends up in a good way, you know, we made so many people happy in a matter of what, an hour.

“So yeah, that's why we're doing this concert as well to say thank you to everyone--the staff, Viva, the fans--everyone that brought us together. Hopefully, yung mga pakembot-kembot namin, e, magustuhan ninyo po.”

Vivarkada gathers actors from Viva One's online series and members of a new P-pop group called GAT. It will be held on August 15 at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.

What can fans expect from this event?

“Magic Mike? Hindi imposible. Hindi, meron po kaming performance ng boys," he answered in jest.

Meanwhile, during the presscon, the entertainment media also noticed that Marco had grown a mustache and looked more muscular.

The actor said he's preparing for a new acting project that he could not reveal yet.

But he hinted, “There's a show that apparently I'm playing the role of someone older 'tapos, may pagka-mysterious yung person doon sa kuwento. Ako personally, in-ask ko kung puwedeng magpakalbo for it because I need to look older. I asked kung puwede na akong magpakalbo and hence, the mustache.

“Ang problema lang po ngayon is the next book is coming, soon we're gonna be starting to shoot. So ngayon, ang problema po is hindi namin alam kung kaya kasi baka mag-overlap.”

Marco remains part of the screen adaptation of Gwy Saludes's popular university series on Wattpad. He and Heaven Peralejo starred in its first installment, The Rain in España, which was followed by Safe Skies, Archer, Chasing in the Wild, and Avenues of the Diamond. Two books from the series are still awaiting adaptation: The Golden Scenery of Tomorrow and Our Yesterday's Escape.
