Like a true friend, Marian Rivera shows how she's always there for Boobay.
Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera is a true friend indeed as she spends some quality time with her close and longtime friend Norman Balbuena, also known as Boobay, after he suffered an from silent seizure during an interview.
In an Instagram post, Marian posted a few snapshots of her together with her "girls," which included Boobay.
“Spending time with my girls, enjoying good food and even better company. Cheers to a fun-filled night and friendships that always have each other's back,” Marian captioned the post.
In a comment, actress Gladys Reyes expressed hope that Boobay is now doing ok, after he had a silet seizure episode during his interview on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda on April 20.
During his interview with King of Talk Boy Abunda, The Boobay and Tekla Show host suddenly stopped talking with Boy calling for an immediate commercial break.
Once they're back on, Boobay then shared that after he had a stroke in 2016, the doctor told him that he will have these seizures.
“Sinabi naman ng doktor ko na after ng nangyari sa akin noon ay maaring mag-hang ako and the best thing that you have to do is parang mag-stop ka lang and hayaan mong bumalik sa dati 'yung mga pag-ikot [ng sistema] mo,” he said.
Netizens also expressed their concern for the comedian and asked the comedian to take care of himself. Some also praised Tito Boy for noticing that something is wrong with the comedian and called for a quick commercial break.
Fans, meanwhile, also praised Marian for being there for Boobay, with one of them saying, “Hindi talga pababayaan ni Marian si Boobay.”
One netizen also said, “Friendship needs to be nurtured and cared for. Mahirap magkaroon ng tapat na kaibigan sa showbiz. Keep it up.”
It can be recalled that it was also Marian who helped Boobay back in 2016 while he was recuperating in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) after his stroke.
