As it is World Breastfeeding Week, Mariel Padilla congratulated all the breastfeeding mommas like her.
To celebrate World Breastfeeding Week, celebrity mom Mariel Padilla gave a special shout out to her fellow breastfeeding mothers.
On her Instagram, she shared a photo of her breastfeeding her second daughter Gabriela.
She describes the experience as "wonderful" and "incredibly worth it."
"Happy breastfeeding month!!! I know how difficult breastfeeding is... how much sacrifice and dedication a mother gives to be able to breastfeed her baby...but i also know how wonderful and how incredibly worth it it is so congratulations to all the breastfeeding mommas out there. YOU ARE AMAZING!!!!!!!!" she wrote.
Mariel also recognized the support of her family on her breastfeeding journey.
"Happy breastfeeding month!!!! I wouldn't have been successful without the support of my family. I love you all so much. My family is everything to me," her caption reads.
It can be recalled that Mariel struggled to breastfeed her first daughter Isabella.
In various interviews in the past, she opened up about producing very little milk due to polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and some hormonal issues.
She has to turn to formula feeding until her milk supply improved.
Eventually, she was able to fully breastfeed Isabella and was even recognized by the Mother and Child Nurses Association of the Philippines Inc. as a breastfeeding advocate in 2017.
