Mariel Padilla celebrated her daughter Gabriela's sixth month with a 'new normal' party.

Celebrity mom Mariel Padilla made a commitment to celebrate every month until her second daughter Gabriela turns one.

However, parties are still discouraged since the threat of COVID-19 is still present.

Fortunately, Mariel was able to embrace the "new normal" and threw Gabriela a virtual party, complete with decorations, cake, and catering.

The party was held back on May 15 but Mariel shared it recently in her vlog.

Mariel personally set up the safari-themed decorations such as balloons and wall decals which were sent to her home.

The party was held via Zoom with guests like Axl and Alas with mom Kylie Padilla, Lucia, and Carmen with mom Bianca Gonzales and Seve with mom Toni Gonzaga.

A performer dressed as Disney character Moana also engaged the kids in games and activities.

"Yay! It was such a successful party. This is the new normal and we are embracing it. Tinanggap ko na that there will be changes. Mayroon talagang mga pagkakataon na hindi na talaga tayo masyadong makakalabas lalo na ngayon na wala pang vaccine, wala pang gamot. But there are ways that we can still celebrate with our families. This is what I wanted to show you guys today," she says at the end of the video.

Mariel previously shared a hilarious vlog where she switched lives with one of her household help who has been working for her for almost a decade.

She has also kept herself busy with baking various favorites like pandesal, Spanish bread, and ube cheese pandesal.
