The Miss Universe Philippines coronation night is getting closer and closer, as evidenced by the organizers beginning to reveal the performers that will be entertaining the crowd and the queens on the finals night.
RuPaul's Drag Race: UK vs The World finalist Marina Summers was just recently announced as one of the performers during the coronation night. The announcement was made on the official Miss Universe Philippines Instagram account, with Marina being described as the “Icon Diva Superstar and International Drag Race Superstar” set to bring the house down.
The Miss Universe Philippines coronation night is going to be held on May 22 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. Tickets went on sale last Monday, April 8.

From the comments alone, it looks clear that Marina Summers brings a sizable fandom to the show, with many saying that she should be the one crowned during the coronation night. Fellow Drag Race Philippines and RuPaul's Drag Race UK vs The World contestants Prince, Hannah Conda, and Captivating Katkat were also in the comment section to cheer Marina on.

This announcement is just the latest way the Miss Universe Philippines organization has been drumming up buzz for the upcoming coronation night. Just last week, the beauty brand Hello Glow named the top six candidates for its collaboration runway show with the Miss Universe Philippines organization. Clinching the spots are Miss Pampanga Cyrille Payumo, Miss Bacoor Victoria Vincent, Miss Iloilo Alexie Brooks, Miss Baguio Tarah Valencia, Miss Quezon Province Ahtisa Manalo, and Miss Lucban Rikki Dela Peña who won the fan vote.
The Miss Universe Philippines organization has also previously shared the candidates' official headshots, swimsuit shots, as well as the candidates in their evening gowns.

The delegates are all competing to be the one to succeed current reigning Miss Universe Philippines Michelle Dee, who visited the candidates during their contract signing with the Miss Universe Philippines organization.
