Nicole Donesa, wife of Mark Herras, proudly shared a significant achievement for their family, revealing that their children, Mark Fernando and Mina Jean Olivia, have officially acquired dual citizenship in the Philippines and the United States.
The Filipino-American actress took to Instagram to announce the good news, saying it became an extra special birthday blessing as she celebrated her 32nd birthday.
She wrote, "Been MIA for the past few days for a lot of surprises to share with you guys soon but I'm excited to share with pride one surprise that became official on my Bday! Who would have thought our Bunso Mija would successfully get her Blue Passport and Dual Citizenship on my Birthday?
"Hard work paid off, and my birthday wishes came true. @herrasmarkangeloofficial, both of our babies @mark_and_mina_ are Dual Citizens na. Good job to us. One of the best Bdays I've had yet. Many more blessings & surprises I'm so excited to share with you guys soon, but for now, cheers to 32 yrs of this wild & crazy life."
The milestone comes months after Mark shared on "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" in April that he and Nicole are considering migrating to the United States in the future.
According to the actor, Nicole also plans to file a petition on his behalf as part of the process of obtaining U.S. citizenship.
"Malaking factor sa amin ni Nicole 'yung buo ang pamilya para sa mga bata. And having those kids... wala akong laban diyan. So, kung nasaan sila, nando'n ako," Mark said.
Mark and Nicole tied the knot in September 2021. They welcomed their first child, Mark Fernando, fondly known as Corky, in January 2021. Their second child, Mina Jean Olivia, affectionately called Mija, was born in June 2025.
