Markki Stroem's musings on his birthday: "Let us all remember that we are not perfect. This is why it is important for all of us to find beauty in these imperfections."
Markki Stroem fulfills one of his dreams on his 34th birthday--a naked photoshoot aptly titled "Adam in Paradise."
On his Instagram, the singer-actor shared three photos from this project done in a place his dad would call "The Big Tit" in Antipolo, Rizal.
Markki shared the first preview of "Adam in Paradise" on his actual birthday on March 21.
"Another year older, another year wiser," he wrote as he began looking back at one of his childhood memories.
"When I was in High School, I enjoyed going for runs in the WILD.
"I had a secret spot where I would sit and stare at the city landscape on a mountain top. I would only bring my dear friends to this hidden GEM.
"It's been a dream... Capturing this safe space in its purest form... Calm."
On the second preview called "Adam's Temptation," which he shared the following day, Markki shared a memory of him with his dad and his brothers going on weekend runs in a place that shows "the view of Manila Skyline."
He said, "Fast forward, 20 years later, and I see that my father was trying to teach us a lesson. Sometimes, the road less traveled renders the best rewards.
"Gratitude. We, oftentimes, take this for granted. I am thankful for my wonderful family and the company I keep.
"It doesn't matter how many times you fall, it's about picking yourself up, and coming out of it triumphant!"
Markki posted the third preview, called "Adam Leaves Paradise," on Tuesday night, March 23.
In his caption, the 34-year-old crooner stressed the importance of learning from the past while living in the moment.
He said, "Let us learn from past experiences and dream of future endeavors… But, as much as we all want to look to the Past to find answers, sometimes it is better to just Live in the moment. Always Love in the Now. Live and Love.
"Do not allow people to tell you how to live your life. After all, YOU are the son of ADAM. Yes, he made mistakes and fell for temptations, but he also found Family, Adventure, Purpose, and most of all LOVE.
"Let us all remember that we are not perfect. This is why it is important for all of us to find beauty in these imperfections. Let us not cast a stone until we know the full story. Listen to your HEART, for it will guide you to your Destiny. Love yourself first!"
Markki also mentioned that one of his brothers appreciated this project, "I spoke to my brother @stroemkub a while ago and he simply said... “You did your Birthday shoot on The Big Tit... There is something poetic about that... We have come Full Circle."
This is not the first time Markki became bold and daring.
In 2013, he caused quite a stir in showbiz when he did some nude scenes in the Cinemalaya entry Amor y Muerte.
Markki also did some wild scenes in a boy's love (BL) series titled Unlocked, which was directed by Adolf Alix Jr. in 2020.
