Former House of Lies actor Martin del Rosario is appealing for blood donors on social media for his father, who is set to undergo a delicate heart procedure.
In an Instagram Story, Martin shared that his father, Robert del Rosario, will undergo triple bypass surgery and needs at least 16 blood donors.
According to the Cleveland Clinic, triple bypass surgery is performed on people with multiple blockages in their coronary arteries, which supply blood to the heart muscle. During the procedure, a surgeon uses a healthy blood vessel from another part of the body to create a new pathway for blood to flow around the blocked arteries.
Martin wrote, "We are urgently looking for 16 blood donors for my dad who will be undergoing triple bypass surgery."
