Feeling tired or unmotivated?

Everyone goes through that—and fast-rising travel content creator Marvin Samaco recently opened up about experiencing travel fatigue.

Marvin, who previously worked as a corporate accountant, is now a full-time travel content creator with over 185,000 subscribers.

However, in a recent Instagram post, he shared that he has been feeling fatigued and exhausted due to the huge demands of his work.

According to Mayoclinic.org, fatigue is defined as extreme tiredness. Severe fatigue can make it difficult to get up in the morning and get through the day. Many conditions and lifestyle factors can also cause fatigue.

Sharing what he is going through with his fans, Marvin said, “Lately, parang napapagod ako mag-travel. I've been feeling the weight of this life I once prayed for—yung constant na packing ng clothes, early flights, kulang sa tulog, and never really being in one place for long.

“I'm tired, if I'm being honest,” he admitted.

“But then I look at my calendar—May is almost fully booked with three brand trips and one personal trip. June, July, and August may mga naka-line up na rin na brand trips. Di pa ako masyadong nagse-schedule ng personal trips because I'm tired.”

Although he feels the pressure of being a travel content creator, he chooses to focus on the positive side of the situation.

“And I'm reminded… DATI, PANGARAP KO LANG 'TO AH,” Marvin noted.

The social media personality continued, “So I'm learning to sit in both—the exhaustion and the gratitude—because somehow, they exist at the same time. Minsan, nakakapagod din pala yung mga bagay na pinangarap mo lang dati.

“But it doesn't mean you stop. It just means you learn to rest, breathe, and keep going—this time, with a little more awareness and a lot more gratitude.

“Because at the end of the day, being tired doesn't cancel out the fact that you're blessed. You can feel both, and you're allowed to keep showing up anyway.”
