Matty Juniosa is through to the Britain's Got Talent season 19 finals after earning a second golden buzzer for his “Dream On” performance.

Matty Juniosa has secured a place in the finals of Britain's Got Talent season 19 after receiving his second golden buzzer, this time for a soaring performance of an Aerosmith hit.

The Filipino singer brought the house down with his rendition of “Dream On” during the April 25 broadcast (April 26 in the Philippines), earning a full standing ovation from both the judges and the audience.

“I don't even know what to say. You are just effortlessly sensational. Singing just pulls out of you so easily; those high notes are just so sweet. And it's so lovely to sit back, relax, and enjoy the show, that's so stellar, a masterclass performance of how to deliver a Class A vocal,” Alesha Dixon said, clearly impressed by his performance.

The moment quickly turned emotional when the audience began chanting for Amanda Holden to hit the golden buzzer. Responding to the energy in the room, she stepped in and sent Juniosa straight through to the finals.

Simon Cowell also offered high praise, focusing on both his artistry and presence on stage.

“Alesha summed it up when she said it was a masterclass. That is what it's all about. Great song, your range is incredible. And you are the sweetest person, I'm so happy for you. Two golden buzzers, that's not bad, right?” he said.

With this latest golden buzzer, Matty bypasses the remaining rounds and advances directly to the finals, where finalists will be evaluated based on combined judges' and audience scores.

Earlier in the competition, Simon had already awarded Juniosa his first golden buzzer during auditions, after his emotional performance of Prince's “Purple Rain.”

Outside of BGT, Juniosa first entered the spotlight through Idol Philippines season one, where he finished in the Top 12. He later joined Enzo Almario and Lucas Garcia in the trio iDolls in 2019, which eventually disbanded three years later.
