The internet is buzzing with speculation about a possible feud between actresses Maui Taylor and Angelica Hart.

The rumors began when Maui shared a cryptic Facebook post on May 3 that appeared to call someone out.

"Funny how some people look so confident online, but very different in real life. Stay true, stay real. Want a clue? Just go to my comsec," she wrote.

Maui then added in the comments "👼 nga ba or 😈," drawing several guesses from followers.

Minutes later, Angelica also suddenly posted a cryptic message on her social media page.

"May mga tao talaga na hindi maka move on sa dati nilang spotlight. Tahimik lang ako… 'wag mo lang akong subukan. Goin' back to Honolulu just to get that ???" she wrote.

Fans quickly speculated that Angelica's post was a possible response to Maui's message, especially after Maui had previously been tagged in the “Maui Wowie” trend.

The internet star also added in the comments, "Hay idol pa naman kita dati…" and "oh guys sya una nag parinig, patola pa naman ako…"

The rumored tension appeared to escalate when the dancer-actress shared another post on May 5. This time, she included a partial image of a female celebrity.

"Stop acting like you're the standard now. I've seen you up close, hindi ganun ang kwento sa personal. Plus madami ka pang kakaining bigas, " she wrote.

Netizens began comparing the photo to Angelica's past Instagram posts, speculating that it may have been her.

An hour later, Angelica posted again, and this time more directly.

"At least I don't rely on old fame just to stay relevant. Growth matters, not nostalgia. #MauiNoMore."
